Each image is refined with great care before becoming a museum-quality fine art print, designed to be enjoyed for many years.
How are the prints produced?
Every print is produced using professional giclée printing on premium matte paper, chosen for its exceptional detail, rich tonal range and natural finish.
Rather than keeping inventory, every artwork is printed only after an order has been placed. This ensures that every print is produced specifically for you while reducing unnecessary waste.
Production is handled through Gelato's international network of professional print partners, allowing your artwork to be produced as close to its destination as possible without compromising quality.
Why do some prints have different proportions?
Photography begins with composition.
Many photographs are traditionally cropped to fit standard frame sizes. While this can simplify framing, it can also alter the balance and intention of the original image.
Whenever possible, every photograph is presented in its original aspect ratio. This preserves the composition exactly as it was created, allowing the artwork to remain true to the original vision.
Why is there a white border around the print?
Every print includes a clean white border surrounding the photograph.
The border creates a refined gallery presentation while providing greater flexibility during framing.
For photographs that don't naturally fit standard frame sizes, the white border allows a professional framer to create a perfectly balanced mount without cropping the image.
Having worked in the professional print industry, I've seen how even small changes in cropping can alter the visual balance of a photograph. Preserving the original composition has therefore always been an important part of my work.
How long does production and delivery take?
Every artwork is produced specifically for you.
Production normally takes between 2–5 business days, after which the print is carefully packaged and shipped from the nearest available production partner.
Tracking information is provided as soon as your order has been dispatched.
What happens if my print is damaged during shipping?
Although damage during transport is uncommon, it can occasionally happen.
If your print arrives damaged or contains a production defect, simply contact us within 14 days of delivery and include photographs of both the print and the packaging.
Once the issue has been reviewed, a replacement print will be produced and shipped free of charge.
There is normally no need to return the damaged artwork.
Can I order another size?
Yes.
