A Porsche 917 moves through the frame, its exceptionally low profile and vivid blue and green bodywork held against the darker surface of the circuit.
Designed entirely around performance, the 917 has an almost sculptural quality when viewed from the side. As the camera follows its movement, the track begins to lose detail and stretch into horizontal lines, while the distinctive silhouette remains the visual anchor.
The strong racing colours add another layer to the composition, separating the car from its surroundings and giving the photograph an almost graphic quality.
